Also known as “Greektown” or “The Danny”, it’s one of Toronto’s most vibrant and cosmopolitan neighbourhoods. Danforth Ave changes from Bloor St once you pass Bayview and the Prince Edward Viaduct but the Bloor St Subway that runs across the city continues through Danforth all the way to Scarborough, this makes it very accessible to the core of the city. What makes this vibrant and energetic neighbourhood so sought after are its mix of walkability to restaurants, shops, endless cafes and services, it provides great schools such as Jackman or Franklin Public Schools, access to parks like Withrow Park or Riverdale Park East and boasts some of the cities beautiful century old brick homes.
